Disruption in luggage movement at Kuwait International airport

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, May 21: Kuwait International Airport continues to experience disruption in luggage movement. For the fourth time in two years, this crisis resurfaced but no real solutions have yet been taken to fix this problem, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The crisis has led to congestion, followed by panic and confusion among the passengers because the congestion is experienced not only at check-in counters but also in the arrival and departure parking lots, despite efforts exerted by securitymen to direct motorists to nearby roads to avoid congestion.

Sources explained that Kuwait Airways Corporation has apologized for delays in their flights. However, it was not only Kuwait Airways that witnessed delays, as the flights of several other airlines were delayed because of the congestion and disruption in luggage movement, which so far has no lasting solution. This is a cause for worry especially with the presence of thousands of Umra pilgrims during this month of Ramadan
