Jordan- Minister pledges improved travel facilities at King Hussein Bridge

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 21 (Petra) –– Interior Minister Samir Mubaidin said Monday that Jordan is keen to provide all forms of support to the Palestinians and facilitate their travel at the border posts, includig the King Hussein Bridge, their main gateway to the Kingdom and the world.
He spoke during an inspection tour of the King Hussein Bridge to check first-hand on procedures and facilities provided to Palestinian travelers, where he was accompanied by Public Security Department (PSD) Director General Maj. Gen. Fadel Al-Hmoud.
Hmoud pledged to constantly work to improve the security service at the Jordan Valley border post and develop work mechanisms to save time and effort for travelers, stressing close cooperation and teamwork between the Ministry of Interior and personnel at the bridge to deliver that kind of service.
The minister and the PSD chief toured the various facilities of the crossing and listened to a number of observations about the nature of sevice.
