Saudi embassy in Lebanon holds Quran memorization contest prize giving away

Beirut, Ramadan 3, 1439, May 18, 2018, SPA -- Saudi embassy in Lebanon held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, today a holy Quran memorization contest prize giving away, the second annual in a row in collaboration with Dar Al-Fatwa of Lebanon.
Waleed bin Abdullah Bukhari, Charge d'Affaires of the embassy, Lebanon's Mufti Sheikh Abdullatif Daryan, and a number of senior clergies and officials attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Bukhari gave an account on the link between the Saudi administration and the holy Quran in history, given the care accorded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the holy book.
For his part, the Mufti lauded the position and support usually rendered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince to the people and government of Lebanon as well as the Arab and Islamic issues.
