Hezbollah: Arabs normalizing ties with Israel burden on Palestinian cause

(MENAFN) Lebanese Hezbollah deputy chief Sheikh Naim Qassem stated that the decision of US President Donald Trump to relocate US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem was "worthless," LBCI reported on Monday.

"Trump's decision to move the embassy is worthless. Last week's attacks on Israeli positions in the Golan Heights affirmed balance of deterrence," said Qassem.

The Hezbollah official stressed saying: "Currently, the goal is to liberate all of Palestine. We want the people of the region to be able to create their own future."

"Syria has always supported Palestine, that"s why they tried to destroy it," he went on to say.

Lashing out at Arab countries that have normalized relations with Israel, he said: "Arab countries that have normalized relations with Israel, have always been a burden on the Palestinian cause with their oil, thrones and emirates."
