Jordan- 12 militants killed in Afghanistan
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 11 (Petra) -- At least twelve militants have been killed during the operations of the Afghan army Commandos and the Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS), Special Forces in Afghanistan's eastern Laghman province.
The operation was conducted in the vicinity of Alingar district and this operation led to the killing of at least five militants, including two key militant figures, reported Khaama Press, citing a statement released by the governor's office in Laghman.
A suspect was also arrested during the operation and a weapons depot was eliminated.
