Bahrain condemns terror blasts in Afghanistan

Manama, Sha'ban 20, 1439, May 6, 2018, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the province of Khost and the bombing that targeted the headquarters of the district chief of Ahmedabad region of Paktia province of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which resulted in the death and wounding of dozens of people.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Bahraini ministry affirms the unwavering support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in its war against terrorism and its efforts to eliminate all terrorist organizations to achieve security and peace.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry also expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and its wishes of speedy recovery for all those who have been harmed by this sinful act which contravenes all religious principles and moral and human values. It stresses the Kingdom of Bahrain's firm position that rejects violence, extremism and terrorism, and that calls for the need of the international community to reinforce coordination at all levels to ensure the elimination of terrorism and the achievement of security and stability in the world.
