Djibouti supports Morocco's suspension of Iranian relations


(MENAFN) The Moroccan official MAP news agency reported Djibouti to have announced its "full support" to Morocco for its resolution to suspend diplomatic relations with Iran.

Djibouti has reportedly declared it backed Morocco's decision "to guarantee its security and stability and to face any attempt to undermine its territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens."

The remarks have been made by Djibouti's Foreign Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssouf in a letter delivered to his Moroccan counterpart.

Morocco has also received support from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, along with several Arab countries that included the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.
