6 Palestinians injured by Israeli troops in Central Gaza

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza City, May 5 (Petra) –– Six Palestinians were wounded, including two children and a paramedic, on Saturday when Israeli occupation forces opened fire east of the Maghazi Refugee Camp in the Central Gaza Strip.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, said that one of the inured was in critical condition and that the wounded paramedic was a member of the Palestinian Red Crescent.

He said Israeli forces were targeting ambulance crews and hampering their work in an "unjustified breach of the international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention." Today's casualties came a day after hundreds of Palestinians were injured in the weekly March of Return on the Gaza border on Friday.
