(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, April 28 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Riyadh on Saturday, his first official visit since assuming office earlier this month, official SPA news agency reported.
It added that Pompeo was received by his Saudi counterpart Adel Al-Jubeir, saying the two men would hold a joint news conference tomorrow. No further details were available.
The US State Department announced two days ago that Pompeo's Saudi visit was part of a regional tour to Jordan and Israel for talks with the three countries' senior officials on issues of mutual interest. (end) mdm.bs
