Massader invites EOIs for rooftop solar at Palestine schools
(MENAFN) By May 13, experienced rooftop solar project contractors are invited to express their interest in taking on turnkey solar school projects in the State of Palestine.
With this expression of interest (EOI) invitation, Massader, the natural resources and infrastructure development arm of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF), aims to prequalify bidders who will later receive request for proposal (RFP) documents.
PIF signed in January a framework agreement with Ministry of Education of Palestine for the installation of 35 MWp of photovoltaic (PV) power capacity at up to 500 schools over three to four years.
The average size of the separate systems will be 70 kWp.
Massader is to select up to five contractors with which to sign framework agreements related to the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover of rooftop solar PV systems at specific schools.
