(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Mouroj al Rawahi from Shamsa al Khalili School, Muscat, defeated Rayyan al Rawahi of Obaidah bint Musallam School, Muscat, 3-0, to clinch the title on the concluding day of the inaugural edition of the Stag U12 Table Tennis Inter-School Championship for girls at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Monday.
Rawan al Shuaili of Sinaw School beat Al Hanoof al Abdulsalam from a Batinah governorate school to finish third in the three-day championship that featured 24 young paddlers from various government schools across Oman.
H H Sayyida Basma al Said was the chief guest and gave away the awards in the presence of H E Dr Hamood al Harthi, Undersecretary at Ministry of Education for Education and Curricula and chairman of Oman Schools Sports Association and Abdullah Bamkhalef, Oman Table Tennis Committee chief.
