Morocco detains 80 migrants in illegal border crossing to Spain


(MENAFN) Local media declared that the Moroccan authorities have detained 80 sub-Saharan illegal migrants in the northern city of Nador amid their attempts to get into Spain.

The migrants' attempts were blocked following two separated missions carried out by the Moroccan authorities in two local beaches in the city of Nador, according to Citing security sources, Hespress.com news site.

In the first mission, 25 illegal migrants were held off the Moroccan coast en route to Spain.

While in the second one, 55 illegal migrants, with women and children among them, were detained while they were preparing themselves to enter boat heading to Spanish coast.
