Palestinian shot dead at Gaza border


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, April 12 (Petra)-- A Palestinian young man died of his wounds on Thursday evening after he was shot and critically injured by Israeli occupation forces near the Gaza-Israel border in southern coastal enclave, according to medical sources.

Spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudrah, said Abdullah Shahri, 28, was shot and critically injured by Israeli soldiers as he was participating in a non-violent protest, as part of the ongoing Great March of Return.

He was moved to nearby hospital in Khan Younes, where he was pronounced dead.

This brings up the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since March 30 to 31.
