Qatar- Roundtable sessions explore US investment opportunities
MIAMI: Participants at the three roundtable sessions, held in Miami as part of Qatar's ongoing economic tour of four American states, discussed the investment opportunities available in the real estate, hospitality, tourism, technology, and healthcare sectors.
The sessions were attended by Chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, and a number of Qatari businessmen and their American counterparts.
The first session discussed cooperation opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors. A tourism council in Miami along with a number of the biggest hospitality companies and consultants participated in the session.
They presented a number of investment projects in the city of Miami to Qatari businessmen. They, for their part, invited their American counterparts to invest in Qatar's hospitality sector and enhance partnership in it.
The second session explored investment opportunities in the healthcare sector with a number of hospitals present. They reviewed the latest technological advances in that field and the bilateral cooperation opportunities.
The final session focused on the real estate sector, with a large number of real estate developers from Miami and Qatar present.
They explored the available investment opportunities and the most prominent projects in Miami available to foreign investors.
