Danish Red Cross goodwill ambassador visits Jordan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, April 7 (Petra)-- Danish Red Cross Goodwill Ambassador, Torbjorn Pedersen said he will work to promote Jordan as a country of security, peace, and stability during his trip around the world that includes 200 countries.

In a statement to Jordan News Agency, Petra, he said he was surprised by Jordan's historical and cultural heritage as well as the by security and stability that prevail in the Kingdom despite the current situation in the region.

Pedersen also praised Jordan for hosting a large number of refugees and providing them with all care and attention.

President of the Jordan Red Crescent Mohammad Al Mutlaq Al Hadid received yesterday the Danish goodwill ambassador during which he highlighted the importance of his trip around the world that aim to disseminate about the uniqueness of Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to the World.
