Doha Document helps stability in Sudan, says Darfur leader
Khartoum: The head of Liberation and Justice Movement in Sudan, Tijani Sissi, said that the Doha Peace Document for Darfur served the internal stability of the country through its successful model of peace in Darfur, which reflected positively on the country.
This came during a statement yesterday, broadcast by the Sudanese radio channel after meeting with Sudanese Assistant to the President, Faisal Hassan Ibrahim. Tijani Sissi, former Chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority, said that the meeting dealt with the overall peace process in Darfur and the national files related to dialogue, political stability, constitutional process and the establishment of dialogue commissions.
