Egypt: seven die in road collide
(MENAFN) The Health Ministry of Egypt declared that seven have died as another 11 were wounded in a road accident on a desert road linked to the capital Cairo and the city of Suez.
Khaled Megahed, Ministry spokesman confirmed that the crash occurred when a bus collided with a truck.
He added that the wounded were hospitalized in fractures, bruises and abrasions.
Such road accidents claim the lives of nearly 12,000 people in Egypt every year,according to the World Health Organization.
