No ban on pandols or dansals on Vesak or Poson Poya

According to earlier reports the Government had decided to ban pandols on Vesak and Poson Poya in order to ensure the focus is kept on Buddhist religious activities.
However the Government says there is no such ban and pandols or dansals can be operated with approval from the appropriate institutions. (Colombo Gazette)
