Jordan- Hybrid vehicles tax will not be scrapped: Ministry of Finance
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Mar. 28 (Petra)-The Ministry of Finance labeled reports on news sites and social network platforms on plans to reduce tax on hybrid vehicles as "untrue".
There is no intention to reverse the decision on hybrid vehicles, which sets the value of "hybrid" tax by 55 per cent, according to a ministry statement put out on Wednesday.
With this proportion in place, this type of hybrid cars has a preferential price privilege in comparison with tax on their fuel-only counterparts, it added.
