North Korean Supreme People's Assembly to hold talks April 11
(MENAFN) North Korean Supreme People's Assembly was confirmed to have picked April 11 as the date for a meeting ahead of the planned summit between North and South Korea.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported the assembly's presidium to have settled on March 15 to carry out the meeting.
Professor of North Korean studies at Dongguk University in Seoul, Koh Yu Hwan commented "the April assemblies are regular meetings where North Korea makes decisions on key state projects."
The professor continued "this time, we're looking at inter-Korean summits and the US-North Korea summit, so there may be some measures or speeches linked to those but we'll have to see."
