Egypt's president welcomes Jordan's PM


(MENAFN) Jordanian Prime Minster Hani Al-Mulki has landed in Egypt on Tuesday where president Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi welcomed him.

Sisi stressed the importance of relations between his country and Jordan, especially in light of the circumstances and challenges facing the region as two sides underlined their keenness to maintain joint cooperation to face common challenges and push strategic relations forward.

Ambassador Bassam Radi, Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said that the Egyptian
president conveyed his appreciation for Jordan's firm positions, emphasizing the need to reinforce coordination to better face regional challenges.

The meeting explored the latest developments in the Middle East as well as the situation in Syria and Iraq. The two officials also agreed to coordinate efforts on rebuilding Iraq and restoring its security and stability.
