(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 11 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace Sunday the UAE's ambassador to Kuwait Rahma Al Zaabi.
The envoy handed over to Sheikh Al-Sabah an official invitation from Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to visit the UAE.
Sheikh Al-Sabah thanked Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his generous invitation which he accepted, Defense's Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said in a press statement.
Also today, Sheikh Al-Sabah separately received ambassadors of Oman Adnan Al-Ansari, Belgium Piet Heirbaut and Vatican (Holy See) Archbishop Francisco Montecillo Padilla.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister and the envoys exchanged friendly talks, and also discussed issues of common interest as well as latest developments on the regional and international scenes. (end) ays.msa
