McDonald's extends support to Oman Shabab Radio's singing competition
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Forty-two young, talented Omani children out of 200 contenders who auditioned for the voice talent show are now competing to bring home the most coveted grand prize of RO2,000 from Oman Shabab Radio's weekly competition, sponsored by McDonald's. The talent show is held every Thursday at Muscat Grand Mall.
Oman radio is airing on its Youth channel amazing Omani voices, from age 7 to 17 years. Each participant is looking forward to getting fabulous prizes. The first place winner will get RO2,000, and second place winner will get RO1,500; third and fourth winners will get RO1,000 and RO500, respectively.
The weekly talent competition started from January and will culminate in March. The competition finalists will be evaluated through certain criteria: 30 per cent by audience votes and 70 per cent by a panel of judges, namely, Ibrahim al Mantheri, director and melodist, Khawla al Siyabi, singing artist and Mohammed Bakori, musician and melodist.
