Turkey arrests 13 suspects of IS militant attackers
(MENAFN) Police arrested 13 Islamic State fighters in the southern city of Adana,who are believed to be under the suspicion of planning attacks on many facilities in the city,with the US Consulate among them,according to Turkey's state-run news agency.
Anadolu Agency declared that the police arrested the suspects in concurrent raids at dawn, forcing their ways into their houses and knocking doors down in some cases.
The agency added that 12 of the arrested were Syrian nationals.
The raids followed the arrests of four Iraqi IS suspects in the Turkish Black Sea coastal city of Samsun for the potential violation against the U.S. Embassy in the capital Ankara,the threat on the embassy forced its temporary closure.
