Palestinians suffocate in clashes with Israeli soldiers in Hebron


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, March 6(Petra) - Dozens of Palestinians, including school students, suffered suffocation on Tuesday due to inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron.

A statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that violent clashes erupted between Palestinians and the occupation soldiers in Jaroun Jrad area and the Abu al-Rish checkpoint, erected at the southern entrance of the old city and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, leaving a number of the citizens suffocated.
