Turkey: court refuses to free Greek troopers
(MENAFN) Private broadcaster CNN Turk reported that a Turkish court refused to free the two Greek troopers who were arrested after the attempt to cross the boarders to Turkey in bad weather state.
It added that the troopers' lawyer has asked for their release.
Greece's army command confirmed that the two soldiers were arrested near the northeastern Greek border after they wandered in the Turkish land while they were guarding in bad weather.
However, the Greek government spokesman said that he believed they would return fast.
