YEMEN: ERC Organises First Aid Training in Hadramaut

HADRAMAUT,Feb 10 (WAM) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) humanitarian aid authority Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) concluded on Thursday a training programme on first aid, emergency basics and midwifery in the Yemeni Governorate of Hadramaut.

The programme, funded by the ERC, was held in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Yemen's Ministry of Public Health and Population.

Abdul Aziz Al Jaberi, Head of the ERC Team in Hadramaut, said that the programme, which was attended by over 80 health workers from hospitals in Tarim and Hawra, focused on knowledge and skills related to first aid and mass casualty management. (WAM) (END/2018)
