President Trump warns of tax on EU cars imports

(MENAFN) President Trump has raised warning of applying a tax on cars imports from the European Union.

The President justified his threat by noting that other countries have exploited the US for so long as a result of its "very stupid" trade agreements.

The IMF and WTO have expressed condemnation against President Trump after declaring a promise on Thursday to inflict heavy tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.

After President Trump suggested a 25 percent tax on imports of steel and 10 percent tax on imports of aluminum, EU trade figures were reported to be planning 25 percent tariffs on nearly USD3.5 billion of imports from the US.
