'The Operation Olive Branch in Syria is aimed at ensuring the security of Turkey's borders,' he said.
Cavusoglu stressed that Turkey also stands for political settlement of the Syrian crisis.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
