German court gives Palestinian man life time sentence for murder


(MENAFN) A Palestinian man, aged 27, has been found guilty in murder and attempted murder charges, as he was accused of killing a person and injuring another six while armed in knife at a German supermarket.

Ahmad Alhaw was ruled to serve a life jail sentence for his violence which he described as "contribution to a worldwide jihad" in Hamburg, the dpa news agency declared.

The migrant seeking man, who was born in the United Arab Emirates, was declined, as police didn't find any relation between him and extremist groups such as the Islamic State.

Alhaw admitted that his hate crime, which he decided on doing the same day, of killing Christian Germans was aimless, and claimed tension over disputed Jerusalem holy site the responsibility.
