Saudi Crown Prince: "reforms are essential to modernization"
(MENAFN) The recent changes made by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman, to the Ministry of Defense would bring better results bin Salman said, state-owned news channel Al-Ekhbariya reported on Wednesday.

The Saudi Crown Prince described the new wave of reforms and his campaign against corruption as part of the shock treatment that is essential to the development of cultural and political life in the Kingdom and the suppression of extremism.
"The Kingdom will not be able to achieve budget targets without putting an end to this looting," he said.
The way Saudi Arabia is run has seen major changes under 32-year-old Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who rocketed to the heights of power from near obscurity after his father became king following the death of King Abdullah in 2015 and is pushing big economic and social reforms.
