Zambia attracts many US tourists
(MENAFN) During the annual US Travel and Adventure Shows, Zambia managed to increase its tourism profile to more than 1,000 US travel agents and potential tourists.
According to Zambia's ambassador to the United States, the country has made the most of the opportunity to promote its tourism to the US market, after it set stands in three major shows in Washington, Chicago and Los Angeles.
As one of the strategies to attract more tourists to Zambia, the ambassador said the tourism shows have set the tone for this year's tourism sales and such promotions should continue
A sales director at South African Airways said that the country was a wonderful tourism destination for most tourists from the United States.
