Takaful Oman clinches KR Insurance Cricket Cup

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Takaful Oman routed National Life by eight wickets to clinch the KR Insurance Cricket Cup 2018, played at the Al Amerat ground, recently.

Chasing a total of 50, Takaful achieved victory in the seventh over, scoring 51 for the loss of two wickets.

Takaful Oman's Praneshwaran Varadharaj's performance earned him the man of the match award.

Mohammed Alfaz was adjudged the man of the series.

The tournament, organised by Khimji Ramdas Insurance Services, attracted ten teams.

Earlier in the semifinals, Takaful Oman defeated Muscat Insurance while National Life beat last year's champion Al Ahlia Insurance Company.

The trophies and prizes were handed over by M C Jose, CEO of Projects & Logistics Group of Khimji Ramdas.
