Israeli occupation forces raze agricultural lands in Jenin

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Feb. 21 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday razed 6 acres of agricultural land in Baqa'a region east of the West bank city of Hebron.

The occupation forces started razing lands in the isolated village of Daher al-Maleh southwest of Jenin to build a new section of the apartheid wall that is adjacent to "Shaked" settlement.

Head of Daher al-Maleh village council Ahmad al-Khatib said in a statement that the Israeli forces razed about 50 acres of land planted with olives and tobacco in preparation for the building of a wall around "Shaked" settlement.

He said the settlement was constructed on Palestinian land and people were left with no access to their lands in the northern area of the village.
