(MENAFN)Two of Kenyan opposition head Raila Odinga major followers had permission to depart the country shortly after their leave was prohibited by the government.
The two supporters, Senator James Orengo and financier Jimi Wanjigi, have been blocked at the airport at the beginning by the immigration officials, who explained that they haven't been informed about a legal approval of lifting the ban off them.
Odinga's spokesman stated that the government let them travel in the end to Zimbabwe in order to appear at opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai's funeral.
The Interior Ministry refused to comment about the matter, and the reason behind the suspension of their passports remains ambiguous.
