Jordan- Unstable weather conditions forecast over weekend

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 16 (Petra)-- Relatively cold weather is expected on Friday in the highlands and Badia while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the port city Aqaba, meteorologists said.

As we head into night, unstable weather with cold and dusty conditions are forecast to prevail, paving the way for drizzles here and there, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.

On Saturday, mercury levels will drop, bringing cold conditions with heavy rain accompanied with hail showers at times in much parts of the Kingdom with possible showers of light snow on the mountainous areas. Similar conditions will continue to prevail on Sunday, added the JMD.

Temperatures in Amman for the next three days will rang between a high of 17 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 9 at night, while thermometers will record 16 degrees during daytime, sliding to 10 degrees at night in the northern region. In the port city Aqaba, temperatures will hit 27 degrees dropping to 18 degrees at night.
