KSA to launch airport construction project on the Red Sea
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has reportedly agreed on a construction project on its Western Red Sea coast for the building of a new civilian airport.
The project is considered as part of designs to develop transportation sector to become in line with Vision 3030.
The location of the construction was confirmed to be in the Western port of Al-Qunfudah, with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to reportedly issue tenders in the next sixty days.
Citing Emir of Makkah Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Al Saud, reports announced "GACA will issue tenders for the civilian airport in Al-Qunfudah within 60 days."
