Egypt to battle ISIS militants with US
(MENAFN) Egypt has reiterated its determination with the U.S. to stand against ISIS terrorists in the Middle East.
After his meeting with Egyptian officials, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson declared "we agreed that we would continue our close cooperation on counterterrorism measures, including our joint commitment to the defeat of ISIS."
He continued "the Egyptian people should be confident that the US commitment to continue to support Egypt in fight against terrorism and bringing security to Egyptian people is steadfast."
The statement was made by Tillerson during a joint news conference with Egyptian diplomat Sameh Shoukry, as they guaranteed their talks over ISIS threat to have been fruitful.
