Yemen: 9 members of family killed in Saudi offensive


(MENAFN) On Sunday, nine members of a Yemeni family have been killed by a Saudi-led coalition air raid in al-Hudaydah province.

The home of these 9 Yemenis was targeted by Riyadh-led coalition fighters in the al-Jarahi area in southern al-Hudaydah province, according to Al-Mayadeen television channel.

Saudi Arabia, at the head of a coalition, launched a military campaign on March 5, 2015 against the war-torn country to allow the return to power of the resigning Yemeni president, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

Saudi assaults has so far killed almost 14,000 and tens of thousands wounded, not to mention millions of displaced. The country also suffers from famine and contagious diseases such as cholera.
