Pakistan- Supreme Court to hear Naqeebullah murder case on Tuesday


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Supreme Court of Pakistan will hear the case of extrajudicial killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud on Tuesday.

Media reports said a three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will hear the case. Notices have been issued to the Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), DG Military Intelligence, Secretary Interior Ministry and secretaries of Home Departments of the four provinces to appear in the court. Inspector General Sindh, Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Secretary Information and Advocates General of the four provinces have also been summoned.

Naqeebullah Mehsud from South Waziristan Agency was killed in a fake encounter in Karachi after which police officer Rao Anwar and his team were suspended. The Supreme Court has given 10-day time to Sindh Police to arrest Rao Anwar.
