Kuwait's army Chief of Staff arrives in Sudan to hold talks


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KHARTOUM, Feb 10 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of Kuwait's Army Lieutenant-General Mohammad Al-Khudher arrived in Sudan Saturday for a two-day official visit.

During his visit, which is the second-of-its-kind, Al-Khudher, accompanied by Head of the Military Training Institute Major-General Anwar Al-Mazeedi and Commander of Ali Al-Sabah Military College Major-General Bader Al-Awadhi, will hold talks with Sudanese defense minister and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant-General Emad Al-Din Adawi.

He will also take part in Sudan's Military College's graduation ceremony of new batches of officers, including a number of Kuwaitis who completed their training.

The Kuwaiti chief of staff will also visit a number of educational and vocational institutions in Sudan to boost cooperation in training and expertise exchange between the Kuwaiti army and Sudanese armed forces.

Upon his arrival, Al-Khudher was received at the airport by his Sudanese counterpart, members of the Sudanese army general staff, Kuwait's Ambassador to Khartoum Bassam Al-Qabandi, and members of the embassy staff. (end) mmm.ma
