Hong Kong witness nineteen deaths in bus crash

(MENAFN) Hong Kong has undergone a tragedy of losing nineteen lives with 40 others injured after a double-decker bus crashed.

The crash occurred when the bus, which had spectators and staff from horse races as its passengers, overturned in the New Territories region.

The bus has reportedly been on the road with over speed when the crash took place, with firefighters making maximum efforts to try and rescue passengers who remain stuck.

The incident is considered as the worst seen ever since 2003 in July when 21 deaths occurred as a double-decker collided with a lorry when it collapsed off an elevated road.
