American man, 81, returns back to Iranian prison

(MENAFN) After setting free an American inmate, aged 81, for four days on health grounds, Iran has put him back in jail leading the US government to demand his release.

Iran has reportedly arrested Baquer Namazi as well as his son, Siamek, over a nuclear agreement in Tehran.

Authorities have returned Namazi to Evin prison after the Iranian regime let him go for a period of four days a month ago when he had health troubles.

The jailed man's son, Babak Namazi, confirmed "I was stunned when the prison officials out of the blue called my Mom and demanded my father report back immediately."
