Pakistan- Federal govt not sincere to merge Fata with KP, Asad Qaiser

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) GHALLANAI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser claimed that the federal government was resorting to delaying tactics to implement Fata Reforms.

He said that KP assembly has passed numerous resolutions for merger of Fata with KP and even tribal people wanted to be merged with KP but the federal government was not willing to pay heed to their demands.

Qaiser said that the federal government was not sincere in development of Fata as it has not included it in CPEC projects.

Local elders urged the federal government to open Gorsal gate on Pak-Afghan border to promote cross-border trade.

They also demanded resumption of mobile phone and internet service in the area.
