Qatar to take part in Arab Youth Forum in Kuwait

Doha: The Ministry of Culture and Sports represented by its Youth Affairs Department will participate in the Arab Youth Forum, hosted tomorrow by Kuwait's Ministry of State for Youth Affairs.

Delegations from 12 Arab countries will attend the three-day forum, which is part of the events Kuwait is hosting in its role as the capital of Arab youth for 2017.

The Arab Youth Forum aims to explore the views of the youth on concepts such as being moderate, humanity and engaging in dialogue. The event will include lectures and workshops which will discuss these concepts and aim to promote these values among the youth of the Arab world.

Consultant on cultural programmes at the Ministry of Culture and Sports Nasser Al Jaberi told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the Ministry chose eight young men and women to participate in the workshops and the Arab Youth Forum's other events.

Those eight youth are divided into four boys and four girls, who are also equally divided between coming from secondary school and from university.
