Oman to support Indonesian USD10bn refinery project


(MENAFN) Oman's Overseas Oil and Gas (OOG) has partnered with Indonesia's Pertamina along with Japanese Cosmo Oil International for the development of the Indonesian firm's $10 billion refinery at Bontang.

Oman was confirmed by the project's director Ardhy N Mokobombang that it is to offer funds to the development with the firm anticipating a 10% stake to be taken.

The Indonesian firm aims to arrive at a closing investment resolution on the 300,000-barrel-per-day Bontang grass roots refinery project.
