(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received 47,000 congratulatory messages in different languages, said Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed bin Nassir al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, at the ministry's headquarters on Monday morning.

The messages were received as part of the initiative, 'The Glorious November around the World' on Oman Qaboos website which describes the personality of His Majesty the Sultan in 30 languages, stated a press release.

Hamoud bin Mohammed al Azri, general supervisor of the Oman Qaboos website, and Zuwaina Sultan al Rashdi, CEO of Dar al Herfya Company which supports the project, were present at the ministry.

Azri made a detailed presentation in which he explained, 'The Glorious November around the World' initiative and emphasised its importance to the Minister of Education.

Dr Madeeha said, 'This precious country has granted us Omanis, all means of care, stability, and unlimited support throughout all these glorious years. We will never be able to pay it back regardless of the sacrifices we make.'

She added, 'I congratulate the supervisors of this national project, and I support their love for our cherished leader.'

The 'Glorious November around the World' is an electronic booklet which highlights the personality of His Majesty the Sultan in more than 30 different languages.

It was launched by the Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs last October, on the occasion of the glorious 47th National Day celebrations.

Many accredited embassies have cooperated with the website administration by supervising and reviewing the congratulatory messages, each in its own language.

Azri said, 'I am very pleased to announce that the new design of the project is in its final stages. It keeps track of the technical development in the world of websites. The project can also be accessed through a mobile application.

'There are also many other initiatives that we will announce later, in order to allow this important project to develop continuously. I once again thank all those who contributed to the continuity of the Oman Qaboos website, particularly the embassies in the sultanate.'
