Two Kuwaiti ministers hail His Highness Amir as illustrious leader

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 29 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's transformational leadership has propelled Kuwait towards global recognition, a pair of Kuwaiti ministers said on Monday.

Speaking to the press as Kuwait celebrates the 12th anniversary of His Highness the Amir's ascendency, Minister of Education Dr. Hamid Al-Azmi said that His Highnes the Amir's rise to power ushered in an epoch of unprecedented development for the country.

Al-Azmi, who is also Minister of Higher Education, assured that His Highness the Amir would not rest on his laurels, rather, he would continue to seek a path of economic and political stability.

"We wish His Highness the Amir great health, happiness and prosperity," Al-Azmi said.

Similarly, Minister of Oil Bkheet Al-Rashidi said that His Highness the Amir's accomplishments will forever be remembered in the annals of history, citing his strenuous efforts to keep Kuwait's stability and security intact.

Al-Rashidi, who doubles as Minister of Electricity and Water, added that His Highness the Amir's tutelage helped bring the aspirations and dreams of the Kuwaiti people to fruition. (end) msa.mrf.nam
