Qatar- Industrial Zones: Draft law referred to Utilities Committee

Doha: The Advisory Council held yesterday its regular weekly session chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti.
At the outset of the session, the Secretary General of the Advisory Council H E Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayarin read on the agenda of the meeting which was approved.
Then, the Council approved the minutes of the previous session.
Following this, a memo of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No. 5 of 2015 regarding commercial/industrial outlets and similar public facilities, as well as street vendors was read on.
The Council discussed the said draft law and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.
Another memo of the Council of Ministers on a draft law on industrial zones was also read on, and the Council decided by a majority to refer the said draft law to the Services and Public Utilities Committee for more consideration and report thereon.
A memo of the Council of Ministers on the recommendations of the Advisory Council on the conduct of business and sale online in the State of Qatar was also read out.
