Temperatures may dip to 7C in Wakrah, Mesaieed


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The minimum temperature is expected to dip to 7C in Wakrah and Mesaieed today as cooler conditions prevail around the country, the Qatar Met department has said.
The weather office has also issued a warning for strong winds and high seas in offshore areas today.
Northwesterly winds will blow at a speed of 12-22 knots offshore, going up to 32 knots in some places later in the day. Slightly dusty and partly cloudy conditions are also likely there, with the sea level rising to 13ft. The forecast for inshore areas says moderate temperature is expected today along with scattered clouds and slight dust, and it will be cold by night. The minimum temperature today is likely to be 7C in Mesaieed and Wakrah, 8C in Al Khor, 9C in Abu Samra, and 12C in Dukhan, 13C in Doha and 16C in Ruwais.
Yesterday, the minimum was 9C in Mesaieed and Turayna, while in Doha it was 16C.
